We all should eat more quality protein (for example beef, chicken, fish, eggs, nuts} and obtain our carbohydrates from plant based sources whilst ensuring we perform at least twenty minutes of resistance exercise every other day.
Every pound of lean muscle burns three times the energy of the same amount of fat. Muscle does more than make us strong – it also facilitates hormone production (such as Human Growth Hormone), stabilizes blood sugar levels and affects our libido. So don’t starve yourself by restricting calories, instead eat more lean protein and less carbohydrate, The current western diet consists of 35% Fat, 16% Protein and 49% carbohydrate. Our ancestors ingested around 38% Fat, 31% Protein and 31% plant based carbs.They were naturally lean and muscular.
